First, access the child's Connect profile and check their Text Delivery Status. See Getting Started With the Connect Program Portal.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

If a family reports that they have not received a text message from Springboard Connect

  1. Double-check their contact information with Salesforce.

  2. Update their phone number within the Connect program portal in the Student Info section, if necessary, by clicking on the student’s name in the Students tab and clicking on the Edit button

  3. Navigate to the Students tab

  4. Click on the box to the left of the table to select what students to send a Connect: Family link

  5. Click "Resend Connect Link" to resend the Connect: Family link to one or many students.

  6. If sending the link does not work, see Share the Connect link with the family.

If a family would like to receive email reminders instead of text messages

  1. Double-check their contact information with Salesforce.

  2. Update their email address within the Connect program portal in the Edit Student Info  section, if necessary, by clicking on the student’s name in the Students tab and clicking on the Edit button

  3. Change their "Reminders" to Email in the Edit Student Info section.

  4. They should receive an email within 1 to 2 days.

If a family cannot access Connect or do not wish to use Connect

Contact the family's teacher. They are able to access and use the family's Connect app for both completing questionnaires and recording progress on the families behalf, using the Connect program portal. See the Support SLA families without Connect guide for more information.
